On the highways of Tehran at night, Amir supplies the city’s lonely souls with drugs to give them a little relief. After his two extraordinary debut films “Kami’s Party” (2013) and “Atomic Heart Mother” (2015), Ahmadzadeh has created another mesmerizing drama about the disillusioned urban youth culture in Iran. Filmed without a permit and featuring a cast of mainly non-professional actors, it screened in the Locarno competition and Ahmadzadeh was not allowed to leave Iran.
