Ghodrat, a simple worker from a village near Shiraz, is celebrated in the media as a living marathon legend. He sees himself as the chosen hero of the poor and oppressed. A cross-country record of 92 kilometres is not enough for him – Ghodrat wants to compete with the best of the best and take part in the Olympic Games. Keshavarzi accompanies the 32-year-old in his attempt to reach the top.
