The Dervish-Artist Musa, who lives on the island of Hormoz, explores the ancient rituals, myths and mysteries of the Arabian, African and Indian-influenced Persian Gulf region. The filmmakers – „Noir Art Group“ – approach the impressive cultural and coastal landscape with associative images.

More InformationThe Tehran-based “Noir Art Group” (@noirartg) began its activities in 2006 with site-specific projects, urban art, video performances, documentaries and interdisciplinary and international workshops. Their actions and events on the identity of space aim at reviving abandoned places and creating ephemeral public spaces for artistic and cultural events.
Mina Bozorgmehr (*1980 in Tehran) Filmmaker, site-specific performance artist, art designer. Master of Architecture at the “La Villette Architecture School” Paris (2002-2008), “School for Movement Studies, LEM”, International Theatre School of “Jacque le coq” Paris (2000-2002).
Hadi Kamali Moghadam (*1973 in Shiraz) Filmmaker, theatre director and actor, performance artist, acting teacher. Theatre director and actor at the “Acting Free School of Tehran” (1996-1998), film studies at the “Tehran Film School” (2000-2002).
