In “Water Will Take Us”, the award-winning environmental filmmaker Mohammad Ehsani shows the effects of climate change, water mismanagement and the floods of 2019 on Iranian civil society. After the screening, we will discuss with experts parallels to the flood disaster of summer 2021.

Mohammad Ehsani (*1973 in Tabris) has made numerous documentaries dealing with historical and social issues: In recent years, Ehsani has increasingly turned to environmental issues, including the films “Lady Urmia” (2013), “Lonely Lake” (2015), “Once Hamoun” (2016) and “Karoon” (2018).
