Hassan Fazili staged theatre plays in Afghanistan and made documentaries and short films as well as several popular television series. His films MR. FAZILI’S WIFE and LIFE AGAIN! deal with the rights of women, children and the disabled in Afghanistan and have been screened at numerous international festivals. Fazili also worked for Feo Aladags German film IN BETWEEN WORLDS, which premiered at the Berlinale in 2014, and as a cameraman for VOICE OF A NATION: MEINE REISE DURCH AFGHANISTAN. His documentary PEACE IN AFGHANISTAN, produced for national television, portrayed Taliban commander Mullah Tur Jan, who layed down weapons and chose a peaceful civilian life.
