Filming in her apartment turns the life of Mahboube, who lives in seclusion, completely upside down: for a week, she is confronted with people in her courtyard, her kitchen and her bedroom – with the crew using her personal belongings for the shoot without being asked. At the same time, the subject of the film, a break-up, brings back long-suppressed memories. Hashemi’s directorial debut, made during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” movement, shows how emotional healing is possible in the midst of difficult circumstances.
