The city of Shiraz is famous for its beauty and poetic atmosphere. Mohammad Kart portraits its shadier sides: a gang of youths in the outskirts. The tough guys are in a downward spiral of violence, ignorance and superstition.

Documentary filmmaker Mohammad Kart was born in 1987 in Shiraz, Iran. After studying directing and acting he started his acting carrier and gained recognition and awards for various theatre roles. He also played in major movies like in Reza Dormishians “I’m not angry”. His documentary debut “Bruise” was awarded several times including at the Tehran based »Cinema Varieté« festival.
